Came in dead with a short on wifi chip, removed wifi and now it boots. I have a display but not very bright and with no touch. Tried 2 new screens from different suppliers but now have no display so i put the old screen back on and the display works as before. I have noticed that chestnut is getting hot very quickly. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Chestnut is responsible for providing power to both the LCD & Touch circuits. If it appears to be hotter than normal, then I would certainly probe that part of the circuit and replace as necessary.
