I have a smart TV . Today when I was using my TV as Computer by connecting laptop using an HDMI cable everything was running well. suddenly a spark like sound came out of laptop HDMI port and both devices turned off.smoke came out of the laptop HDMI port also. Now whenever I turn ON my smart TV It works fine for a while. I can watch all channels and movies but it turns off itself after some time.same thing happens again and again when I turn on TV.Laptop Turns ON But no display is showing up not even BIOS. can anyone please help me solve this issue of my Smart TV?
@sikandar you will have to remove the back of your TV and check the main board. That is the board that has all the inputs on it. It does sound like you possibly have a shorted component on that in the HDMI circuitry. Post some good pictures of that boards with your question. that will allow us to see what you see Adding images to an existing question We need to know the exact make and model of your TV to determine if schematics etc. are available.
