Hi everyone, I have a client who has a MacBook 13" with an LCD display that overtime (she says she didn’t drop it) started flickering. I wonder if I were to replace the entire top part (easier for me) if that will address the issue or if there is something more than just the LCD display. Also if someone were to fix the current one is it just that the backlight went out? An image and video are attached. Thanks.
I would hook it up to an external monitor first to help isolate the problem. Move the screen up and down and see if there is any change. Run your finger along the bottom edge of the display where the board is and see if you get any changes.
