I replaced my iPhone 4’s sticky home button following the instructions on this site. I’ve put everything back together and now the screen is inverted and garbled. What’s the likely cause? Did I damage the ribbon cable?
Sadly You could have damaged the ribbon cable or flexed and ruined the LCD during removal, either way you will need a new LCD Digitizer . Good Luck.
