Chosen Solution
When I push the power button, I hear the chime but the screen stays black, the fan does not run, and the processor gets hot quickly. I have tried clearing the PRAM and resetting the SMC to no avail. Replaced the logic board and fan but the problem persists. The backlight on the keyboard does not work, nor does the apple logo light up. I’ve even tried connecting the laptop to an external screen, but nothing changes.
You’ll need to pull the logic board to inspect it for liquid damage and burnt components.
