I have a 2009 15" Macbook Pro and I can only find 2011 and 2010 Display assemblies, so can they be used instead of the one that I have?

Sorry but you can’t do that, unless you can find a 2010 machine with core2duo CPU. When you go into i5 and i7 Macbooks wifi and webcam cables are not compatible.
