Trying to fix this DVD player - the owner said it doesn’t read discs. On investigating I found that it wasn’t spinning discs at all. I’ve replaced the laser/motor unit but it’s still the same. The disc starts moving 2 or 3 times very slowly but then it gives up and says no disc. Both laser/motor units do exactly the same.
