Disc not reading when inserted but can be heard spinning

There are several things that often cause this problem:

  1. Dirty discs…I’m sure you’ve already cleaned your discs but it might be a good idea to clean them again just to be sure.
  2. Sometimes people (or kids) put foreign objects into the disc drive and that can definitely cause it.
  3. It’s possible that the laser inside the disc drive is faulty and not reading the disc correctly.
  4. There could be some other random problem with the drive causing it not to read. Hope this helps.
