Hello, I have been rebuilding an iPhone and from the description you can guess I have a few issues. the parts I have replaced are the screen and the lightning port. When I finally got all the parts replaced and the screen finally worked (think I had a loose connection) here’s what it does. When it boots up it says disabled and I have 15 minuets until i can log in. Well I can’t get past 15 minuets because at the 11 minuets left mark it restarts and its always at the 11 minuet mark. thats the first issue, the second is it is not recognized by the computer, all it does it vibrate 3 or 4 times fast but it is never recognized. if i plug it into a charger it chimes and acts normal but not with a computer. oh also it appears that the volume buttons don’t work…. any long winded suggestions? I would really like to get this working!!
The phone is not recognised by the computer because of the USB restriction. You will need to put the phone into DFU or recovery mode and do a restore. This might be difficult if you say the volume buttons are not working.
Agree with Chris stables and if volume button is a problem. install Reiboot pro. It is a one switch app to restore to DFU. Don’t use iTunes to restore.
