Try following this guide by Apple on how to restore an disabled iPhone: https://support.apple.com/en-au/ht204306 Personally I just use 3UTools so I don’t need to manually put my iPhone in recovery mode. You can download 3UTools from here Here is an image of how to restore your phone using 3UTools. Once firmware has finished downloading you can use that to reboot your phone into recovery mode and restore the iPhone:
are you sure you did DFU? Dfu will give you a black screen. Recovery mode will show an itunes logo with a lightning cable. To enter DFU hold the power and home buttons until the phone shuts off, and KEEP holding until the phone reboots and the SCREEN shuts off. Then wait 1 second and release the power button, still holding home. This will cause a black screen. And make sure your phone is plugged into itunes when youu do this. if it isn’t, this won’t work! Then once itunes says something about a device that needs to be restored, click restore or restore and update.
