Chosen Solution
I am fully aware that replacing the home button disables touch ID, as is my client. As they ripped the home button out of the device, they have no choice. I have done the replacement and all they want is for me to disabled the error message as it keeps popping up. Touch ID is disabled on the phone, but the error message lingers. Can I turn off this error message pop up?
You have to bring it to apple after various internet searches because Touch id not matching with iPhone will not allow the iphone to function. Sources: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/795… Possible to replace touch ID color sensor?
That is not solved.. You telling me I have to pay Apple to disable a stupid message at the startup of phone or every time its been in sleep.. Get stuffed.. new phone.. never an apple again.
apple doesnt want us to able to disable the message, it acts as a reminder it has been tampered with. I have fixed MANY iphones and of course once in a while while moving the home button from one screen to another it wont always survive, so it must be replaced with a fully funcioning one which is usually better than the original without of course the touch-id funtion, and even though we are fully aware, the phone will always display the message if the synced original home button isnt attached. many people have came to get other repairs and asked me this same question, but no, there is NOTHING we can do, only apple can disable the hidden setting, yes, you heard me, its a hidden setting, so just jailbreak your phone and you’ll be fine, stuff apple.
