I installed a new screen & digitizer. The Digitizer is not working correctly. Some spots are dead, some are offset. Like if you press “a” you get nothing. If you press “s” or “d” you get “a”. To use the “Slide to Unlock” you have to swipe downward at 30-45 degree angle. With “Slide to power off” the first 75% of swipe doesn’t register and the last little bit isn’t enough to turn it off.
@tyoung489 , Timothy, Sounds like you may have gotten a faulty digitizer. Did your old digitizer still work, if did try reinstalling and if it works, the new one must be faulty.Return the digitizer for replacement/refund. Good luck.
