Hi all, Been a bit stumped on this: a few months ago, my MSI GS63VR started dying the moment the AC adapter was removed, despite being fully charged on battery. I assumed this might be a faulty battery, so just recently replaced and installed, but no change. I’ve attempted to do an MSI battery calibration, but it just powers down the computer the moment I hit go, with no change after restart/recharge. I’ve been searching high and low, but a bit stumped — would be really grateful if anyone could offer some advice/wisdom/perspective. thanks a ton! matthew
This is a long shot, but try disconnecting the battery and the BIOS CMOS battery. The little, coin sized, black disc under the battery with the black and red wires.
