I have my second iPhone now and it’s still impossible to get out the right screw on this one as well. I’m afraid of stripping this one, did Apple use yet another special screw or something?
Apple is using the Pentalobe Screws on the outside screws. Same screws they have been using for more than a year. If you are having trouble removing the outside back case screws. Push the back case on all the way, push very firmly on the back case and slide it down towards the screws, it may move imperceptibly. This will release the pressure on the screws so they can be removed.
