Chosen Solution

Straight to it then: The micro USB to USB power port on my CM Storm Trigger snapped off. The contacts with the board still look fine but I’m not sure how to reattach it. How did this happen? I moved and didn’t have a desk. It fell off my bed and landed just right so that the cable was forced back up into the keyboard housing, snapping the micro USB port from the PCB. Will I need to solder it back on or is there a safe way to jury rig this? Update: Added Image. Sorry I couldn’t take the full top cover off. I don’t have an exacto knife or anything I felt comfortable using to pry the rest of it off. I just moved so my tool selection is sparse at the moment but I can acquire anything.
