Hi, I’d appreciate any instructions to use the ifixit kit to repaste the Dell XPS 15 9570 laptop. Thanks
There are lots of videos online, here’s one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqKFAlDD… Pick the one you like. Some offer more details than others - some too much. Remember clean off old heat paste with 99-100% isopropyl alcohol (i.e. no water unlike disinfectant which is 70%) and do not use too much heat paste! You just want enough to fill the microscopic pits in the surface of the chip and the heat sink.
