Fan at left of keyboard sounds like a weed eater. I need to replace it. What orientation determines the side of the fan? Looking at the key board or upside down?
Your machine should still be covered under warranty. If you can’t get to a store, Apple will ship you a box over night. The repair is done the same day as they get it.
