Hello! I am trying to bring back to life my old mac A1185 but eventhough it starts with the regular noise it goes black I have tried several commands but none work. What I am noticing is that the apple in the back is dead and that also the battery is damage, should it work without battery or does it have to do with the black dead screen? Please help me out I will appreciate it for ever
After you boot it up, shine a flashlight at an angle to the screen and tell us if you can see the desktop. Also move the screen back and forth and let us know if there is a change.
