Hi i was playing PUBG on my phone and i closed the app and a few secs later while i was listening to music, screen turned purple and slowly faded to black, but backlit was on even tho there was nothing on the screen. i hard reseted the phone since power button wasn’t functional. (only works when i use it with home button to go DFU mode) and now i can only turn on phone only by hard reset and getting the phone out of DFU mode. phone works and receives calls but only vibrates and speaker doesn’t work. i tried another screen, and tried to disconnect and connect the screen into board. but nothing happened and im still got the issue. also i tried all the methods on the internet and restored the phone. i don’t know what to do anymore, and i don’t have access to any apple stores. thanks for anyone putting some time to answer.
Has this phone been dropped, repaired or came into contact with water recently? If the phone seems to “work” and has the backlight on, then the issue may be with the LCD driver circuit. If the replacement screen you tried was known-good, then that’s pretty much the only other possibility. You could send your device to a shop that does micro-soldering so that they can take a look at it. Ideally, you want to find someone local but good workmanship trumps locality. There are many shops worldwide that do this so you shouldn’t have any problems finding them. If you can’t find one locally, then consider mail-in repair. There are several reputable micro-solderers patrolling this forum.
