My Laptop won’t turn on at all no signs of life. I am getting LED visuals on MagSafe and Battery Sensor. Has a hard drive installed without macOS for the minute (no point buying If laptop is dead) Would love to get this old boy running again. Answers are welcome <3
Yes, your PRAM battery has failed! And the leakage of the electrolytic has corroded things. You’ll need to take it off (soldered on) clean the logic board and replace it with a fresh battery. The system won’t work properly without it.
