when i plug it in the apple logo show up but then a Dead ipod face show up wit www.apple.com/support/ipod few second after that “Please Wait Very low Battery” then reset to the apple logo again and the same happen over and over forever till the battery die! I’ve try connecting it to itune but nothing happen still doing the same thing. Tried to put it into diagnostic mode and disk mode but can get it out of that same cycle its doing. How can i fix this? am i looking at a battery problem? Hard drive? or something else?

Dara Real, the way I’d approach this is by starting to replace the leat expensive part first, which would be the battery, Once you know that the battery is okay, you can recheck your iPod and see if you can get it back into diagnostics. It is possible that it is your hard drive but unless you gave a way of attaching your HDD to your computer its a guess until you have most parts replaced. If you can see if you might invest in a zif to usb adapter. I got mine on ebay for a couple of $$ and it does save me a lot of time. Make sure that your power connector on the logic board is still properly attached and that the clip is seating the cable all the way. Also, make sure that you insert the battery cable deep enough into the connector so that it makes good contact. If you are still having trouble with it after you properly replaced your battery and it should still not function, you could try to either replace the board or the drive. Depends or where you purchase either, I’d be looking at the board first. Let us know if you need further help with it once you replaced your battery. Good Luck to you. http://www.ifixit.com/iPod-Parts/iPod-Vi… iPod 5th Generation (Video) Repair
