Does anyone know how to charge a dead lithium battery with another battery as I have a iPod that has a severely undervolting problem and I need to manually put charge into it Any known methods Any help will be greatly appreciated Thanks:)
The only method would be to wire positive to positive and negative to negative of both batteries. In theory 2 working batteries should balance their power until it gets even, but if you have one dead battery it may not work. However, unless you know for sure the dead battery is not internally shorted or deteriorated, I would avoid playing with lithium batteries, as they have the bad habit to catch fire when things go wrong.
