Chosen Solution
My MacBook pro 17 unibody had hit the floor a few times, but was still working fine. I got a new case for it and replaced it. Now it won’t boot. Totally dead. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this? Maybe I pulled some cables/contacts? Best regards, pk
Reset the power by removing the battery and disconnecting the AC adapter, then press and hold the power button for ten seconds. Now reconnect and see if it will power up.
