My Sony VPCF120FD power cable will not stay plugged into the DC Jack on the computer. It isn’t even wiggly it just falls out. Can I fix this myself?

Marcie, yes you can fix it yourself. All you would have to do is to disassemble your laptop, remove the logicboard. Then desolder the old DC adapter and resolder a new one. The part is available at places like this
