I replaced the Logic Board with a matching version and model, Macbook 2.4 C2D 13" Santa Rosa. I replaced the DC In Power Jack too, compatible model. I’m getting a faint green light. I’m using a brand new 60 watt Magsafe. The contacts on the DC jack look fine, and I don’t THINK the pins are out of whack on the AC adapter. The 2 outer pins are a little higher than the 2 inner pins and 1 center pin.

Gutsy, buying a logic board on a water damaged machine. Let’s see if we can get it to work. Remove the battery and power supply and press the power on button for 10 seconds. Do you get anything, lights, sounds? Did you replace the keyboard? Was the machine on when the water came? Did it go in through the keyboard?

Hi! I have the same problem with my macbook: faint green light and no charge. I’ve tried to place a brand new battery but nothing changes. I’ve already tried the trick of the 10 seconds without battery but doesn’t work. Inside is perfect but I’m worried about the humidity… Is it the dc plug broken?! Can I change it by my self? In an authorized apple center asked me 75$au just to open it… Thank you for any answer! I really worried and I don’t know what to do! Cristina
