Chosen Solution Hello. Did a battery replacement for a friend on a 5S. Unfortunately, his screen would not easily pop off the base. I pulled a bit too hard and it sprung open pulling the Touch ID ribbon cable off the board connector sending the metal bracket flying. Hi @redbiship , Knowing the make and model of the clock would help in finding a repair manual. Also is the problem only with the digital display? For instance assuming it is a clock /radio, if the radio is on does it also stop when the display disappears indicating more of a power problem then just a display problem....

Chosen Solution I have an 80gb 5th gen iPod that has lost all sound output from both the headphone jack and the data port. Chosen Solution Hi! As you suggested, you should start by replacing the battery. If that solves the problem, then you have nothing to worry about. Laptop manufacturers usually design the batteries for their devices so that the same model of battery works with more than 1 product (this helps keep costs down and is fairly nature-friendly), so you will never find a battery that works with exactly (and soley) your laptop model....

The thing is when I replaced my screen yesterday, I might not have noticed that there’s dirt on the earpiece speaker so now my speaker sounds bad with crackling. Chosen Solution I replaced the LCD that failed but I get nothing on the screen. The power light is on and the fans are working but no startup tone etc. I plan on checking the logic board once I remove it for bad capacitors. Do you stock the capacitors ? Chosen Solution Only sporadically receives calls and says call failed when placing calls. If turned off and then back on, will work for a short period of time. Have reset, restored and then reauthorized with AT&T. Hardware failure. It could be a lot of things. Check the headphone connector. If there is a short it will turn the device off. Check the data connector also. Make sure there isn’t anything in the connector....
