You at least will have to remove the back from your TV to evaluate the damage. This could be any board as well as the panel. Out of the six darts, one or two might work as they should. I have dissassembled it, and nothing looks damaged, yet they still don’t work right. Why could this be? Is something out of alignment? This sounds like an alignment problem. it is more than likely that when dropped the mechanism has shifted and under the pressure of the already tightened screws it has stayed misaligned....

Chosen Solution I haven’t completed this type of repair yet, but I heard from a reputable source that the t1 chip not only allows access to the Touch ID but also the FaceTime camera dose that mean if I replace the screen the FaceTime camera will not work I just did a screen replacement (display assembly swap out) a few weeks ago on a 13" model didn’t have any issues.

In reviewing iFixit and other tutorials for the repair, all mention first removing the battery before proceeding. Is this actually necessary? Chosen Solution There seems to be mixed opinions on this one. Some say removing screen protector doesn’t have any effect on the coating but some say it’ll remove some of the coating. Does it? As a cellphone repair shop tech who has replaced hundreds of screen protectors, I don’t think it effects the coating at all.

Listing stated it had been dropped (two of three of the lenses were broken) and was working, they turned it off and then it wouldn’t turn back on again. Said the screen was working fine. I’ve tried recovery mode, buttons, nothing comes up in itunes, although when hooked up to my usb tester it shows .38A draw (not the most exact on low drawing items but definitely shows it’s drawing power)....

Chosen Solution I have been unable to find a replacement AC condenser for my 1984 Toyota pick-up. The OEM number is 88460-89109. Four Seasons, Spectra and other aftermarket manufacturers make a usable AC condenser but no one has one. Any tips on anyone who may have one is appreciated. An air conditioning shop suggested using an universal AC condenser that fits into the space of the OEM AC condenser and then customizing the connections as required....
