Chosen Solution Hey, after a freeze, my MBP doesn’t recognize the HD (disk utility), even after a replacement with a new HD. Boot by CD, boot over USB, hardware test, daily use… everything works fine, except for the HD. Can somebody tell me: Can this be a problem with the HD cable? The logic board? The EFI? How can i check which it is? Should i try fixing it myself? I mean, it works fine, i just have to take my HD with me and plug it in USB every time i want to boot my laptop^^ -Should i check if it “rotates” at least?...

Chosen Solution Anyone tared down new xps 15z yet? I wanted to put a ssd inside, but i dont wanna crack that shiny new outline around the edge. Even the battery is hidden inside - and cannot be removed traditionally. So I’d appreciate pointers and or picturs of this paricular teardown. Unfortunately this is not a tear down we will be performing and we likely won’t even be doing repair guides....

Chosen Solution I removed my iPhone 5 screen for fun to see how it looked like underneath, after getting an iPhone opening tool kit set as a gift. When I used the suction cup, I placed it right over the home button on my iPhone 5, and carefully pulled it upwards. While I did so, the screen and digitizer(?) I think, snapped off the body, ripping one of the cables. One odd thing is that the LCD metal backplate, did not come lose....

Chosen Solution can’t locate the screws of the speakers. @cyberdyim the screws are hidden behind the perforation screen. Remove that carefuly by using a small hook or a screwdriver. My son’s ACS22 speakers do not have screws behind the perforation. It seems they either have hidden clips or more likely are glued together.

With that you can unlock. This only works though if your phone has a working data plan or connected to working WiFi....

How Can I Fix It JoeJoe, sounds to me like you broke your LCD. Here is a decent video that will show you how to do that. The LCD is widely available, depending on your geographic location the price will vary.

Chosen Solution Hey everyone, Unfortunately, the backlight on my Macbook Pro has died. After some research, I think the culprit is a burnt fuse. I stupidly set down my laptop on what I later realized was a wet surface (it wasn’t soaking wet or anything, but apparently wet enough). The display suddenly went black after a few minutes and hasn’t turned back on, even after SMC/PRAM resets. I tried plugging in an external monitor, and sure enough, it works fine....

Chosen Solution The mower will not start; we cannot move the mower in neutral. Is your mower hydrostatic if it is then you will need to disengage the drives there will be some sort of lever often under the seat that has to be engaged before it can be moved Hope this helps and good luck

Chosen Solution Hi I just replaced the screen & frame on my xperia Z3. The screen doesn’t turn on & there is no startup sound. However, a spudger is always a very helpful prying tool to have. I would get a spudger just to be prepared if you need to do any prying....

Chosen Solution I downloaded smcFan control and when I set it it still won’t go past 2,000 rpm is there a better app to maximize fan speed when the computer gets over 70 degrees C How about getting a better app to monitor and if needed up the fans speed when the heat starts to ramp up (turbo mode). This is what we use: TG Pro its by far much better than smcFan Control....

Chosen Solution I’ve replaced the HD and one memory chip 2GB for a 4GB now nothing powers up except the DVD disk drive. I cannot hear the HD even begin to power up and spin even though the power seems to indicate there is a 3rd LED diagnostic bulb lit. Any ideas as to how to proceed? Chosen Solution We have an upright Frigidaire Freezer (model LFFH17F7HWH) that keeps running. It freezes nicely. We have ran through everything we were told and replaced the control panel, door gasket, thermostat control and defrost heater, the thermistor, the run capacitor and the control compressor regulator. Still running. Temp shows 17-25 (fluctuates when we open the door) on control panel yet inside is nice and cold and everything is frozen like it should be....
