Chosen Solution I was told by Apple, that I cannot upgrade the RAM in my laptop to any more than the total 8 RAMS I already have. I’m try to run graphics programs (Photoshop, Lightroom or anything else), and it slows or seizes up my computer. Can I really upgrade with the Memory Maxxer RAM Uptrade kit? I’ve also read about gfxCardStatus download, but it apparently doesn’t work on my laptop because I don’t have dual GPU’s....

Chosen Solution I installed a new hard drive for my iBook G4 that I purchased from iFixIt. When I went to install the operating system (OS X 10.2), the computer wouldn’t boot/install from the Install Disk. I ended up formatting and installing the OS via a FireWire from another iBook. Everything looked good, but I still get a folder with question mark when I boot up. I can see the new hard drive via FireWire with all of the files, so I need to make the native computer recognize it....

A webcam will not work as it needs to be connected to a PC to to gain access to the protocols used for network signalling. You could use an old mobile phone or a digital camera (camcorder perhaps) with WiFi and video streaming capability in conjunction with either a dedicated or existing WiFi router....

Chosen Solution I dropped my ipad and cracked my digitizer. I was able to remove it and am ready to put it back together but the LCD is white and has lines going through it. I tried to perform a hard reset and it did not work. iTunes was able to recognize it and update/sync it but it still is the same. I have taken it back out and reassembled it but it did the same....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone XR that’s blacklisted but it has apple care. It has a very badly cracked screen. Would Apple replace my screen for $30 if it has a bad esn and Apple car or does Apple care not work it it has a bad esn. UPDATE: I went to Apple and they replaced the phone for $100. Does your AppleCare cover broken screen? I doubt it, it’s not a factory defect....

Chosen Solution i got a lumia with broken screen.. and heard of two versions.. out of em.. vs or v2 version is better.. does it support on v1 phones Hi! Nokia Lumia 535 and Lumia 536 screens are basically the same so the “v2” panels will work on “v1” devices. The only difference between the 2 phones is the amount of RAM on the motherboard.

Chosen Solution I found the phone. Though it looks like someone found it before me and has locked it. Because on setup wizard it show’s “due to an abnormal factory reset,you will not be able to use this phone until you sign into your Google account to confirm that it belongs to you. What can I do? Done hard reset,and has no sims in it thank you Your best chance is to bring it to someone that has a flashbox box like the Z3X box to remove the google account activation lock on there....

Chosen Solution I got this error message when I turned my printer on: “A printer error has occured. Turn off the printer, then press On button to turn On. See your documentation”. I did take a look and they say to verify there is no paper jam, which is the case here and then to call the Epson support centre, what I did. The answer I got from the guy I spoke to is to send it to an authorized repair centre as there is nothing he could do over the phone....

Chosen Solution Upon checking the teardown videos, it appears the MacBook Air 2018 features the same glorious ribbon configuration as the MacBook Pro 2016 Onwards. Is it likely that MacBook Air 2018 onwards will develop screen & backlight issues ? There is no point guessing, just wait and see if it happens. The 12 inch MacBook has the same flat cable, but doesn’t seem to fail as often. There might be something wrong with the cables of Touch Bar models itself instead of the design idea....

Chosen Solution Replaced my battery on my iphone 6s plus and the camera ’s didnt work so i took the phone back apart and re seated the ribbons. The back camera worked after that but the front facing did not. I then replaced the front face camera with a replacement out of another iphone 6s plus and the front camera still continues to be black. Chosen Solution When unit is started-it will hum loud then blows fuse, I removed the primary leads to trans and the light,turntable fan and display work fine. I have tested the trans, magnetron, cap and hv diode more than once and they all appear fine I even checked the hv diode with a9 volt battery in series. If I plug the primaries back in and start it -it still will but the Trans hums loudly but did not blow the fuse, ( I only ran it for 5 sec each time) So am I guessing that it is the trans since its secondary leads are not plugged in ?...

I was cleaning the car and I put my iphone on top of the hood of my dad’s work car. he went shopping using it since I was cleaning the main car and I forgot my phone was on it. eventually I finish and look for my phone. find my iphone locates it down the street, we get it and it is… err… obliterated but was making the beeping sound find my iphone makes, so its working....

Chosen Solution hi i have a WD my passport ultra 1 TB hard drive. it was working completely fine, until one day it stopped getting detected i tried putting other cables , NOT HELPED also tried in other laptops , NOT HELPED recently tried with a Macbook Pro 13", it showed for a second, but hanged my laptop after restarting it, it didnt show evev once, althought IT IS BEING SHOWN in the disk utility, it is NOT getting repaired, but teliing to format it there is NO CLICKING sound or any sound coming from inside it HELP ME please....
