I built my computer roughly a year and a half ago and after getting a proper GPU installed (My now installed AMD R9 280X MSI 6GB edition) I have had absolutely no issues with my rig up until the day before yesterday. While playing Elite: Dangerous my screen suddenly distorted, the color showing pink/purple streaks randomly all over the screen, persisting after I closed the game. Chosen Solution I replaced my headphone jack and lightning connector because my phone stopped charging but after re assembling my phone I’ve come to find that my headphone jack isn’t working. Is this a faulty part or is there something I did. And how can I fix this ? Most likely a faulty part.

Chosen Solution The brights no longer work but the low beams do. I have checked fuses, replaced one of the bulbs, and tried out a new switch. What should I check next? It should be the “Quad” relay The arrow shows the fuses for the headlights, but you said they are okay, so that leaves the relay, or a short/loose connector in the harness....

Chosen Solution The speaker seems loose. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. If we tap the back lower right corner it starts working sometimes. But if we move the tablet at all, it stops all sound. i would always suggest taking it to a professional for a diagnostic or repair, since Electronics repair is a very precise skillset, so before you begin, i suggest ensuring you have steady hands, and at least a small history in handling electronic boards and components....

Chosen Solution I have XP on an unused computer. Can I replace Vista in my present computer with it? Yes, you can use that key. But you will have to back everything up from vista (if you want to). If you have the XP CD or the CD that came with your unused computer, it SHOULD work, sometimes, if its OEM (came with the computer) it won’t work, in that case, torrent an ISO and burn it....

The only way to get data off this device is by getting it fixed to the point of powering on. Can I get the Google account without password? No you can’t

Chosen Solution I placed (unthinkingly) my iPhone with the display on a hot surface (LED light that was off but still warm). Suddenly, the display turned off, but not the phone. It continued to be hot (around the area of the display connector) for about an hour, then went normal. Now, everything is working fine except the display. Chosen Solution While my iPhone was docked in my Bose sound dock seriesII, a nearby glass was spilled and some liquid got into the docking port area of the sound dock and the iPhone. I’ve followed all the instructions here on the site, took the phone apart except removal of the battery. Dried all componentes out, everything clipped back together. When I plug it in using the pwr cord, the phone vibrates constantly and the battery charge signal turns on & off....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a 3gs which as a result of having been dropped has partly separated between the chrome bezel and the backshell, in the area around the ringer on/off switch. The plastic switch is now not in register with the electrical switch inside. As the back shell and bezel are shown as one part, I am not sure if they are glued or just snapped together. If they are snapped together I may be able by using a spudger to spring the back shell back into its correct position to avoid a complete strip down....

Chosen Solution i had a iphone 6 come in that was on the connect to itunes logo, customer said they tried updating over wifi and it failed. i found a short on vcc main so i wired my dc psu into the line and injected voltage. found the board getting hot near c5202rf so i removed it, still short, and still getting hot in the same exact spot. so i removed the other caps on vcc main in that spot (mind you i did all of this with micro tweezers so no hot air was used at this point)....

Chosen Solution I have a white westinghouse refrigerator, I am unable to find the pinout of this connector on the thermostat part. The connector is corroded Ang one of it burned. Maybe someone can help me troubleshoot and find the right wiring for this thing. Chosen Solution I was at a friend’s fire pit and a spark landed on my swing jacket and melted a hold about 2" across. Is there any way to repair it? A patch will look weird since it’s only on one side. Also the edges of the hole are hard (melted) so it would be difficult to sew. Any ideas?
