Chosen Solution I went to load my front loading machine this morning. I opened the door and started to put a few items in, when I realized the washer was nearly 1/2 full of water. (I have NO idea why the drum was partially filled and the door was Not locked. I just opened it, as usual, and didn’t even notice the water right away.. I’m obviously sleep deprived!) Chosen Solution iMac “Core 2 Duo” 2.66 24-Inch (Early 2009) 4 GB RAM 10.6.6 I’m having problems almost every time I attempt a Software update or other software download and update. I’ve replaced the hard drive, zeroed the drive, reformatted, installed Stuffit 14. TechTool Pro runs clear, 50 pass RAM check, Disk Utility runs clear, Norton Anti-Virus is clear. Yet almost every time I try to download a update I get a decompression error....

Chosen Solution So my daughter spelled nail polish remover on her chrome book. Not sure the make and model. So when she spelled it the keys are coming up… it’s like eating the glue or something… so what should I do? The palmrest and keyboard is probably history, especially if it’s acetone based - most are. Yes, you may be able to replace the keys but if the acetone melted the key mech as well you need to replace both parts of the keyboard....

Chosen Solution My router will give off wireless signal, but it does not give internet access. I’ve tried restoring to factory settings, but that won’t work either. Is there any way to fix this? Check that is is working via Ethernet. You could be having DNS resolution problems. Depending upon your ISP you have to set your router up with the PPPoE username and password. Or, if you have been issued a static IP address by your provider, (you would need to have requested it), the static IP fields (including network mask and gateway) or clone the Mac (nothing to do with Apple Computers) address of your computer given to you by the provider must also be set in the router....

Chosen Solution I have a problem with the bottoms of my stainless steel pots and pans becoming black and crusty. I THINK this may be due to an incomplete combustion from the stove top burners. Is there a way to make an adjustment ? And how will I know when I have correctly made the right air to gas ratio ? stove is an older model Kenmore. Chosen Solution Over a week ago I spilled a glass of wine on my keyboard. I mopped it up immediately and used a hairdryer (on no heat) to dry it out the best I could. Certain keys won’t work at all (a,s,e . . . all very necessary) and sometimes a there was a repetitive dinging and as a letter would zip repeatedly across the page. When I returned home, the computer seems to work just fine as long as I’m using my new bluetooth keyboard and magic mouse....

Chosen Solution I have dead gas in my ford F150, year 1991. Baby won’t accelerate beyond 40 mph. Is it a stuck valve? Now what? No money for a tear down soo. Toulene, some other additive? Chosen Solution The Dell e1505 shuts down after booting up. Sometimes it runs for a few minutes, sometimes a few seconds. There is a “clicking noise” as it shuts down. Chosen Solution Hello there, it just happened to me today. I broke the data cable connector part on my iMac 27". Is there anyway to repair it, because its actually on the logicboard itself. I didn’t know that I pulled off the display cable with its socket out of the logicboard. I saw that later when I wanted to put everything back on. Chosen Solution Clicking the button on my mac registers as multiple clicks instead of a single click. Also, clicking the button makes the pointer get stuck in “drag” mode. When in “drag” mode, the pointer is unresponsive to taps on the touchpad even though “clicking” is turned on in preferences. If I reboot and don’t touch the button, the touchpad (including taps etc) works perfectly. External mice (both wired and wireless) also work; however if the button is ever clicked the pointer becomes unresponsive to external mouse clicks (but not mouse movement)....

Chosen Solution About a Year Ago i Bought This iMac off of Ebay for a cheap price. fully working to my suprise, i changed the hard drive to an ssd, and it has currently 4gb of Ram. I’ve seen many videos and guides both on youtube and ifixit of iMacs getting Cpu And/Or Gpu Upgrades. Most memorable to me was the 2007 20” iMac And the Cpu Upgrade. Im currently running MacOS Catalina Patcher on my iMac and it is running good, although i would like to (if possible) to upgrade the Gpu....

The apple service told me something like this: Unit was in contact with liquid (possibly wine), especially severe marks on the logic board (motherboard). Thorough cleaning was performed. Unit runs but a short circuit on the connector and logic board IOBoard found....
