Chosen Solution Hi. Hopefully someone can help me out. I have a Samsung S8+ G955FD which is dual sim that has a cracked screen and damaged frame. I’m trying to look for a screen with the frame and my question is if the US model frames will work with my phone because I can’t find any for the FD version. Thank you. F and FD model use the same parts. Only difference on FD is that software wise it is dual Sim programmed....
Chosen Solution Our refrigerator is getting warm intermittently. Fridge gets warm and freezer mostly seems to stay working, although has warmed a little a couple times but we have not had to pull the food out of it yet (can’t keep perishable food in the fridge. The compressor seems to be working, as well as the fan that blows on it (fast enough that can’t really see the blades). The fan in the back middle of the freezer seems to be spinning well enough too....
Chosen Solution When I checked for updates, I realised that my Gear S2 received the Value pack 2 (Or the Gear S3 update). I downloaded it with WIFI, and it began to install. I waited for it to finish, but I realized that it rebooted once it reached 14%. I tried to reset it many times, and it yet won’t work. My S2 is connected to my IPhone 7 plus, running the latest IOS....
Chosen Solution 3 yr old Grandson stuck 2 disc into dvd drive finally got then out.but never worked again. So I bought a new dvd drive the one same drive to relpace it. But I am getting error 160-1402 New here just join today .Looking for help ! thanks again I had the same problem when I replaced my sons drive. I removed the circuit board on the bottom of the old drive and put it on the new drive....
Chosen Solution I forgot the password under my name Tricky for the novice because of the text based Linux interface. It requires you to read and think. If you can handle that, it is perfect. What it does is remove the encrypted password so it is like a new system. There is a program called “ntpasswd” it wipes any users password, admin or not, on Windows NT and up. You just need another computer to burn the program to a flashdrive or cd and boot it up like any OS....

Chosen Solution I replaced the t con board and still have the same issue. When I hold the top corners of the tv and push one side and pull the other I have a perfect picture. When I let go it’s half Black again. @turkeydave , David, if you find flexing the frame straightens picture out you are probably looking at a bad connection on one of the cables or a cracked/poor solder joint on one of the boards....

After I reassembled it, I found out that the click was way too hard, so I opened it again and unscrewed one of the screws on the home button bracket. After that, everything was fine. Just one day later, the home button almost wasn’t clicking. I opened the phone again and the screws were almost completely unscrewed....

I know no store does replacements and even if they did it would cost the same amount as a new tv , but has anyone tried put on a screen from a different tv ? For example replacing the Samsung screen with a Sony screen . Would that even work? And is there any other way I can fix? Chosen Solution Can I add RAM/Memory to my 2015 iMAC 21.5 model? Sadly this model has soldered RAM and is not expandable. The four orange outlined chips are the RAM chips. Here is the 2017 model which has both a socketed CPU and RAM In any case you might find upgrading your drive to a faster model (SATA) and if your system has a PCIe slot then you could also install a larger Blade SSD (the line of solder pads just to the right of the Ethernet RJ45 connector is where it would be)....

You may have to use a bit of force the first time to get it in all the way. You should hear and feel a little click when the charger seats correctly. If you are using a replacement charger you’re likely to have this problem over and over....

Chosen Solution Is there any way to get data from a sim card by inserting the sim card into a different iPhone? My friend passed away last year. I don’t care about the phone itself, I’d just like access to the photos. No, she didn’t backup with iTunes or on the iCloud. I’ve tried every password I can think of to open the phone, but it’s now disabled. I understand it’s possible to reset the phone, but that would destroy the photos in the process....

I powered it up last night, it does boot into Windows and made the determination that the bearings in the CPU cooling fan were bad, I had vacuumed out the dust and tried it again, still groaned. Chosen Solution We had an issue with our Whirlpool Quiet Partner III (GU2400XTPS7) where it was blinking LED lights and not operating. We performed the suggested diagnostic test and determined the problem was with the front control panel. After replacing that, the machine now seems to operate except the dual digital display does not pass the diagnostic test. It does not show the minutes left but instead a sort-of ‘LL’. (I tried using the delay start, but just get random display, not the expected numbers....
Chosen Solution I did a dumb. I was working on changing out the right analog stick on one of these controllers, and the diode at D15 fell off. Then when I was trying to solder it back on, the little sucker went missing. Anyone have any idea what it was, and/or where I can order another? surge protection diode, it should work fine without it
Chosen Solution A few days ago my little brother spilt milk on my remote and the d-pad quit working. I took it apart and cleaned it and got the d- pad to work in the up and right direction but it still won’t work in the left or down direction is there a way to fix this.? P.s. Also when I shake the controller it sounds like theres something it the controller moving around like a a bunch of small prices but when I take it apart there’s nothing....
