Chosen Solution The Component that is missing from my ip7+ Intel board is shown in picture. I am trying to figure out (With no Intel donor board) what component this is to pull from IP7+ Qualcom board. Also… I remember hovering over components on old ZXW to find component value… I just downloaded the new version without Dongle and cant get that function to work without having to search for it on Blackfish schematic....

Chosen Solution My 12" PowerBook g4 got wet from a leaky roof while the computer was in sleep mode. It will boot and I can log in, however, the display is very, very, very dim. Is there an easy fix that’s not too expensive? Hook the unit to an external monitor and see if you have normal video. If you do the logic board if probably good but you need to check the cable and connections to the LCD....

Chosen Solution I just got a used washing machine and when I tried it empty it went off balance. The guy I got it from said it’s the springs and he went to get some. My question really is. Does the washer go off balance because it’s empty? Thanks @lorelei29 yes it can do that especially if it has a weak spring etc., and there is always a bit of a risk to buy used....

Chosen Solution HeyHo, I bought a used Sega Master system 1 Power Base, PAL with antenna cable and the game “Alex Kidd in Shinobi World”. Well, the system works fine but there is a deep buzzing noise at the background. The noise does also change pitch from normal to low, to high…. And the graphics are really messed up. There are huge black transparent scanlines from the bottom to the top of the screen....

Chosen Solution I have tremendous difficulty separating the head from the shaft/stick of my Dyson V11 so I can dump the dirt that’s been vacuumed up. I have to stand on the bottom and work and work to get the head off. Or I have to hold the stick and have someone else pull the head off, but again, not at all easily. It’s been like that right from the very first time I used it....

Chosen Solution So out of nowhere, my Dell Inspiron 15z stops booting from my hard disk. I do my research and find the most common suggestion is to take the whole laptop apart and reseat the hard disk. I do this and receive the same error. My lady is freaking out because she had a semester’s worth of work on the computer, and she didn’t back it up. Lesson learned there....

Test your microphones there are two: the bottom one works when vertical, the top one works in speakerphone mode; test both. Enter “*#0283#” on phone screen to run the self tests. You can also try recording your voice in vertical and horizontal position and play back. If you can’t hear one of them you may have a hardware issue....

Chosen Solution So my iphone 7 just fell off of my lap while I was sitting at the table. It is in a very protected case but still managed to crack a bit somehow. I tried turning my phone on and now half of the screen is unresponsive. Ive tried resetting the phone multiple times, with also a hard reset and still nothing. I just got the screen replaced a couple weeks ago and I dont know what to do....

Chosen Solution HDD fan runs at full speed when it comes on. Speed does not respond to inputs from sensor other than to come on or go off. (It fails the ‘fan test’ run by TechTool) I have replacement, but need to know what to do once the glass and LCD are removed. I don’t recommend using software to override software to control the systems fans as they tend to mask Vs fix the underlying problems....

Chosen Solution Got a tricky one here. Customer brought in an iPhone 7 that was dropped a few months back which caused the glass to break around the home button. The customer says that the phone has been working fine up until yesterday morning when he woke up and the display was distorted with multicolored lines over the display. This screen distortion would flash in and out. Meaning, the distortion would appear over the screen for several seconds and then return to a perfectly normal display and then back to the distortion and repeat ad nauseum....
