Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 6 plus that the front camera is not working on after a touch IC repair. The flash works fine as does the microphone, rear camera, and earspeaker. I have tried multiple cameras and cleaned the connection about a million times. There does not seem to be any problem with the connection. Hi, You mentioned Touch IC repair. There’s a lot of components on the opposite side of the touch ics, near the digitiser and LCD connector, these are covered in underfill, and when heated up causes them to be pulled off the board or moved with the underfill, check the components and put them back or replace them....

Chosen Solution For the past few months i have had this issue with Bluetooth just randomly turning off and me not being able to turn it back on for a few minutes. But Yesterday it turned into it not working all day yesterday and all day today. I have tried many steps including clearing data and cache, Resetting network settings, force stopping the Bluetooth system app and restarting, and safe mode....

Things like house monitoring, watering the lawn, security, temperature control. I know a lot of this would be dependent on software, but what’s available? Chosen Solution I just installed a replacement screen, it is the same screen, and when I turned it on for the first time half of the screen works and the other half is gray. it is split vertically in the center. any suggestions? First, connect the MBP to an external monitor to check if the problem is caused by the GPU or by the screen. If the external monitor show a normal screen then the logic board should be OK....

Chosen Solution Hello .. i have samsung s6 edge + ( sm-g928f ) i love this device and been using it since 3 years .. yesterday i wonted to root it but couldn’t so i road about that and i had to turn off the OEM after root was every thing good until i enable OEM and restart the device .. it stak in boot screen with red line ( Binary Blocked by FRP Lock on ) i didn’t knew what i should do so i try every thing i know to backup the file i couldn’t ,, finally i fleshed a stocked ROM from Sammobiel and plug it in the charging cable and installed every thing i need from store ....

Chosen Solution I have a Vizio M501d-A2 3D LED tv. Used it very little. Last used a couple weeks ago. Hasn’t been moved or damaged in any way. Turned it on yesterday and now there are blinking lines across the bottom 3 inches or so if the screen that change the picture from clear to out of focus and back again. Pics and video available. I have reset to factory, power cycled, checked all cables and connections, removed all connections, changed power cord and outlet....

Chosen Solution so my toshiba satellite keeps getting hot (Really hot) from a few hours of use i havent cleaned out my laptop in a few years or so, i found this tutorial wherein i can clean the fan and the heating grill with a brush, but my question is. do i have to reapply thermal paste if i take apart the cooling system? and if not is there a safer way to do it other than taking apart my entire PC just to remove dust bunnies from the fan and or the exhaust grill?...

Chosen Solution I have a friends Early 2020 MacBook Air that was initially having issues getting past the login screen as the device would overheat and shut down. I noticed her keyboard was bulging so I opened the device and saw that the battery was very swollen. I ordered a new battery but figured in the meantime I should still be able to get it to work if I unplugged the battery and tried to use the device off of power supplied from the charger....

Chosen Solution The device has all the power LEDs off, but when it plugs in only the charging light lights up. I’ve tried replacing the motherboard and the battery. Any suggestions? The motherboard to display cable was damaged. Does your device have an hdmi port ? If so have you tried to attach it to a TV to see if your display electronics may be the issue?

Chosen Solution Bonehead move…I attempted to insert the connector for my smartphone headset in one of the ports of my Mac Book Pro that it looked like it fit. The screen went blank, the computer was making a low humming sound. The external charger was not connected at the time, but the battery had been fully charged. When I turned the computer back on it recovered and displayed normally, so I think the CPU is fine, but the battery condition icon showed a completely depleted battery (X), and I got a warning that the battery was nearly depleted and would shutdown momentarily....

Chosen Solution I bought a 2-in-1 android tablet last year year, and I’m actually on my third one due to tactical errors that caused the destruction of the prior two. But, due to an actual technical problem, (not of my doing, this time), I can’t get the tablet to get past the screen that shows only the Pro12 logo after the Android page, that’s where it locks down. Hi @atom13 , If you purchased it from Google or an authorized reseller in the USA then the phone is covered by the Google International warranty. Chosen Solution Dryer will start and then shut down. Have to open door and turn drum to get to restart. Sometimes 2 - 3 tries and other times no problem. Almost as if going out of balance. If you do not turn drum, dryer will just beep and not restart. More of an issue with smaller loads than heavier. can8dnrose , By having to give it a helping hand to spin almost sounds like a failing motor or possibly loose belt....

Chosen Solution It seems my iMacs PSU is fried (none of the diagnostic LEDs come on) , unfortunately it fried while I was watching a DVD a friend lent me. How do I remove the disc if I can’t start up the machine? There is no ejection pin hole on this one. Chosen Solution My ABXY buttons, particularly A are not responding well. Needs too much pressure to register an input. How would you fix that? Are there just contacts and a spring that need to be cleaned? Or are there switches that you can buy separately and replace (if so I couldn’t find any)? Or would you need an entirely new board? @theunit19 could be the plastic switches that you push down on a membrane....

Chosen Solution The laptop specifically is the HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop but this is the closest HP laptop that somewhat matches it. Here’s a photo of the actual laptop. Most disassemble guides don’t include the screen, I need to know how since on left bottom part of which the monitor/screen that connects to the main body of the laptop have somewhat loosen, more specifically its the part on which it holds the screen whenever its closing or opening, it has three screws and all three came out cause there’s a crevice that forms every time I close the laptop which I could somewhat close by pulling the screen lightly enough....

Samsung is notorious for having slightly different variants when it comes to certain parts....

Chosen Solution My wife dropped her phone in water, quickly retrieved it and powered it down. I took the phone apart and let it sit for 3 days to dry. Now when I put it back together, it will turn on, but gets very hot in the lower right side (same side as sim card). I tried 2 other batteries, but had the same issue. Phone turns on, works fine, gets really hot after 1-2 minutes and shuts down (I assume because of overheating)....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have just been replacing my screen but the hall effect (sensor that detects the close of the screen to put in sleep mode) is not working anymore. I have found that this sensor is on the I/O board but I do not know where and how I can fix it. Thanks, What part did you replace exactly, the screen assembly ? The hall sensor connects to the I/O board and it’s on the topcase, but it needs the magnet on the lid to be working properly....
