Chosen Solution Can’t get earphones in Check inside the audio jack with a flashlight. There may be a piece of lint or part of the plug from the last earphones you used stuck in there. Use a sewing needle or a very thin pair of tweezers to remove any foreign objects. If it doesn’t work, the iPod will have to be disassembled and have the audio jack cleared out that way...

Chosen Solution Hi there, I’ve opened up an iPad 3 to fix it and unfortunately I’ve been stupid and removed a potentially important part. It was stuck down inside the rear housing. It connected with the LCD ribbon I believe, and I rubbed it off thinking it was a piece of sticky glue left in there. The LCD now doesn’t work (I’ve attached it correctly to the motherboard). The piece I removed must have been an inch and a half long, black and connected to the interior of the housing, on the left hand side looking down on it, about halfway down the side....

Chosen Solution My Fitbit Blaze works fine in the charger but shuts off immediately if the charger is unplugged or the watch is taken out of the charger. Chosen Solution I have a 1998 Yamaha G9 golf cart which I had trouble starting. I installed a new solenoid and a new starter/generator. It now starts fine. However, after running it for 15-20 minutes or so, the starter started smoking real bad and it melted the boot covering the A2 terminal on the starter. The starter remained real hot for an extended period of time. It apparently ruined the new starter so I replaced it with another new one....

If it is just the hinge you could probably get away with just replacing the bottom/middle shell…that’s the piece where the bottom LCD mounts in.
