Chosen Solution My phone’s screen was recently hit against a pool ball. It had direct contact with the object, with no screen protection. Fortunately, the phone and its components still function, however, the SCREEN IS BROKEN! It is black with many white cracks going from the point where it was hit. (pic below). If you could please provide specific instructions on the best way to fix this (as if I know nothing about phones), I would be very grateful....

Chosen Solution I would like to get into my routers settings to change the password and other presets. Hey Ben to do this you need to connect to your routers IP address. The address can be found by googling your router models IP address, once in the settings you can change your name and password.

Chosen Solution This printer has a 4-inch wide plastic strip plus small, folding flap to catch the printed output. The strip folds into the paper tray when not in use. Mine is stuck in the out position and is likely to cause damage to itself or me. Why would it cause damage if it’s in the out position? If it’s causing damage either tear it off, or you can call their customer service line, because if your not able to force into its place no matter what you do it will crack....

Chosen Solution I have a “Kenmore” (though really LG) top load washing machine, model #79629002000. I was constantly getting an uE then finally a UE message (uneven) when I washed a load of laundry, and the cycle would not complete. The washer is level though. A “Sears” repairman came out and diagnosed it as an algorithmic problem with the display control board. I ordered one that happened to be used but in good working condition, replaced the board, and am still getting that uE message....

Chosen Solution IPhone only turns on when plugged into charger, however all it does is turn onto the apple logo then back off, it repeats this until i pull the charger out. Doesnt work on pc so i cant restore it, it is currently in recovery mode and i dont know how it got into this mode. So i cant access my phone or use it on itunes You can use 3utools for windows to exit out of recovery mode....

Chosen Solution dropped camera, screen only shows pink lines Actually, in this case, there’s only 2 options here. Check if there are no damage to the cables inside or if they are dislocated. (You might want to check if no other components are damaged aswell) Buy a new screen if you’ve confirmed it’s the screen, not the cables (In that case just buy new cables). (Note if you can’t do this yourself, I’m sure there’s a local repair shop that can do this, you just need to buy the components that need to be replaced (If they don’t have them))

Chosen Solution Hi - I need to have a very long cable run and am wondering if I can splice a wire (CAT-5 or 4 telephone cable maybe) in line with the Nest cable. Specifically, I need to add 70 feet to the cable (camera to be mounted on a pole in the back yard). Now when I turn it on there is just red splotches. Is it a motherboard or screen issue? JDudeMiner mine from your description it sounds like a broken LCD not the motherboard. Chosen Solution Running Yosemite with a half terabyte HDD. Laptop sometimes hangs, apparently not heat related. I have tried repairing file permissions to no effect. Tried Repair Disk but no errors found. What Disk Utility did find was that if I highlight the main or root hdd and click Info, it says it has 20 MB free space. If I highlight the partition in it, Info says there’s 200 GB free space....

It’s an external enclosure you can put your stick into and read it from a USB port. eBay sometimes carries them for less but be sure to get the correct one for the 2013 stick. Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 7 Plus with no home button so I cant set it up. How can I set it up using a computer. When I plug in an iCloud Locked 6S Plus it shows up with the activation screen on the computer but when I plug the 7 Plus in it doesn’t show anything. You could activate Voice Navigation (in iTunes). That should allow you to get into the home screen....
