The easier way is just turn off notifications within the settings and Apps. You can go farther by turning off WiFi & Bluetooth services but at that point you are loosing the main function of the iPad....

Its for a Chrysler grand voyager 54 plate 2.8 crd smit1842067643 , Many things can cause a no heat, Low coolant level(top up coolant), Air trapped in cooling system(bleed coolant system),Heater core could be plugged (change heater core or try flushing), Blend door stuck/linkage off or faulty(locate and free up linkage or change blend door actuator), faulty thermostat, weak failing water pump, collapsed heater hose, check cabin filters for being plugged, etc....
Chosen Solution Heater core is leaking can it be bypassed It can be bypassed. But the vehicle will no long produce heat for the occupants, nor will it be able to defrost your windshield. Which is a pretty mission critical component this time of year! At least up here in Montana it is. If you are in a warmer climate then go for it, if not I’d change out the heater core now....
