Chosen Solution My phone is showing thin black horizontal lines on the screen, so it looks a bit like the screen of 1980s television. It covers the entire phone, and it happened a few days after the screen protector on the top right corner of the phone cracked. Otherwise, the phone still looks fine. It wasn’t that bad at first, the screen just looked like the display was only showing every other line, but when i accidentally put pressure on the top right corner of the phone (where the screen protector cracked), it got worse and started looking like how I explained it above....

Chosen Solution The power button doesn’t work and the laptop just won’t turn on. When plugged into the mains the light is on to say it’s fully charged. My friend had a look, took it apart to get to the power switch, which he tested and is fine, it seems to be the cable from the switch that is the problem. After giving it a bit of a wiggle the computer came on, but then after taking the battery out to put everything back together properly it doesn’t work again....

Chosen Solution My iPad doesn’t charge. It’s never had a problem like this before. What happens is when I charge it, it will turn on at 2% and then die a few seconds later. What’s wrong with it and how can I fix the problem? @meg753 check to make sure that your cable is okay and try a different charger or verify that the charger works properly by charging a different device....

Chosen Solution So I have recently started up a phone repair company and many people ask if I can unlock phones, but I have no idea how to do it? Is there some software that I can download to do it? Do I need any special tools? All I can find is someone selling CDs on ebay but they are for older phone models. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!...

Chosen Solution My phone is out of sync with the base and is not ringing when I get calls, how do I get my handset back in sync? If your handset is out of sync with the base, put the handset on the charger for 5 minutes to reset the security code.

Chosen Solution My son dropped our 12" iBook G4 from chair level and broke the case around the display. The hinge still works, but the case is delaminated. I have an older G3 iBook and was wondering if the case parts from that can be substituted with the broken G4 parts? Yes the iBook G3/G4 displays are similar but they don’t use the same cables. The display casing color will not match and the the word G4 will not appear on the the front bezel....

Chosen Solution I repaired an iPad 2 by replacing a digitizer before peeling back the adhesive strips I tested it. The new digitizer it will not respond to touch. I made sure all of my ribbon cables were connected properly and it still won’t respond to touch. Chances are the digitiser is faulty if you tried testing it before installation. As you said you have fully plugged in the digitizer ribbon cable....

Chosen Solution It dropped in 6 feet of salt water for about 5-10 min. I submerged in fresh water a couple times to rinse. Then I let it dry for 3 days. Now it wont turn on. Is there anything i can do to save it? disassemble iphone and clean parts and connectors with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush. residue from water is either white or green. allow to dry, check and clean again if necessary....

Chosen Solution My phone was working fine. Within 5 minutes time it would not allow me to call out. The screen is reading “emergency calls only, no sim card inserted.” The sim card is in the phone and had never been taken out. I have taken the sim card out, reinserted it and turned the phone off and back on with no improvement. billie jo may, this phone should still be covered under warranty....

Chosen Solution Bought a 16.5 HP engine by briggs stratton yesterday, said had ring kit installed. Exhaust pipe got red hot in about 1 and a half mins It depends on how old it is and whether or not it has overhead valves. If it is an OHV engine, you may need to adjust the valve clearance to specs. It could also be running too lean and need the carburator adjusted....

Chosen Solution Need help finding a free service repair manual for a TBX 260cc moterscooter @reybuitron BMS TBX is a Burgman copy body wise. The engine is a carbon copy of the 250 Yamaha so that is where I would start. The Yamaha manuals should be easier to find and work for you.

Chosen Solution This is the abridged version. This was my first time opening up the mac so I didn’t know that you could replace the HDD without having to open the whole *!&$!&$^ thing. Anyways, I replaced Its HDD to SSD and initially it worked fine, but a day later, it stopped detecting the keypad/trackpad and a day after that even the power button stopped working. I need to determine if this is a problem with the keypad connector or something since this was my first time opening the mac or if the logic board is dead....

Chosen Solution I have purchased the home button replacement cable WITHOUT the button. How do you separate the old cable from the button? I can salvage the gasket Use a thin metal pry tool to separate the button from the plastic button. There really aren’t any guides or videos about this, as no one does it. I don’t know how much money you could possibly save. Not to mention the Touch ID issue, which I can only imagine you’ve lost...

Chosen Solution I have a 3GS and my home button is not working properly, so i opened the phone and i saw the j3 connectors, the ones in the dock connector part were the problem. One of them was in a good shape, what i mean it was gold colored, the other one not so much so i grabbed my screw driver and try to remove this silver kinda thing but i made it worse as you can see in the picture, is something i can do to repair, cuz i know is not making contact, that’s why my home button is not working property thanks Can i solder it?...
