Chosen Solution My phone got dropped in slush and now there is a slowly spreading stain black/ purple stain on the screen. It stared off small then it took over the whole screen. The screen hasnt been responding to my touch nor to my stylus. It does turn on. It needs to be cleaned with 90 proof isopropyl alcohol. You also need a new display assembly. If there is no change in brightness when you turn the dash ligh brightness controller, you can check the switch with a multimeter and see if the potentiometer makes any difference in resistance. Make sure you have good 12 volts going into the switch....
Chosen Solution was having the battery changed and it went dead..when you put in oncharge it only indicates the cable connector n has a iphone/restore label…. sent it to a technician n he hasnt been able to fix it and he says its an hardware problem….any help guyz???? Sounds like faulty battery or U2 Tristar Charging IC [Chip on logic board] needing replacement by someone that does microsoldering (if battery has been replaced and restore tried again)....
