Chosen Solution I wondered if this were possible? As far as I can see the button unlike other laptops/computers doesn’t fire a physical connection you can override but sends a signal through the combined keyboard cable. Is there anyway other way of powering it on as it struck me that maybe my macbooks problem is stuck keys which is why no extermal keyboard worked - the boot was being jammed by multiple keys being considered down....

Chosen Solution Is there a way to refurbish an N64 controller? After years of use the thumb stick on a few of our controllers seem less accurate, and movements have become harder to control. Are there any user replaceable parts that might bring back the original accuracy and crispness of the thumb stick? I’ve taken apart some N64 controllers and replaced sticks before. Chosen Solution I put a disc into my mac and didn’t realize it was damaged. Now whenever i try to eject it, nothing happens. I’ve tried Drutil commands, googled and youtubed every sensible solution with no luck. The disc is constantly stop/starting and slowing the performance of my mac down. PLEASE help!!! If I remove the 128Gb drive - which I believe is an NVMe M.2 - with a 512GB NVMe M.2 do I need to change any of the drivers? Chosen Solution Just replaced the display assembly on iPhone 5c. Took all the components from the old display assembly and put on the new one. After this, earpiece speaker doesn’t work, along with microphone, vibration and the home button. I took everything off and put back on but doesn’t work. Perhaps I’m not fitting these components correctly? Ehh.. Possible that you haven’t replaced things properly. Also possible that you’ve damaged some things, while doing the repair....

Chosen Solution When attaching external monitor to VGA port it is being detected by ATI Catalyst control panel but no signal (problem started suddenly). I also tried docking station VGA port, tried different drivers, tried upgrading BIOS, tried to boot laptop with screen closed and external display attached - no signal. So I am pretty sure it’s hardware problem. Are there any possible solutions out there ? or approximate cost of the fix....

Chosen Solution This morning my laptop display won’t turn on, though the laptop seems to boot normally. The screen is just black. I have tried numerous keyboard resets. As I was trying to boot it, I noticed that the back of the display was very hot. It seems like my display is broken. I will be taking it to a friends to test on an external monitor soon. Any advice? In order to lower my MacBook Pro 15” mid 2014 (2gb GPU) cpu, usually 55-65c , 3000rpm (single monitor), 75c 4000rpm (dual 1080p) I decide to change thermal paste. I disconnected the battery cable, not not all pins at once, I pulled it from right to left. No damage on pins. I applied new thermal paste, than the nightmare started....

Chosen Solution Hey I had to reopen an iPad mini that I repaired. At first it was fine then it started going crazy. I also put capton tape across the bottom. My question is: if I resold the ribbon cable is it going to be ok or is the damage done? Its almost always the IC on the digi flex cable. Chosen Solution I am replacing the logic board on a Macbook Air 2012 13" i7 2Ghz 8 Gb A1466 and was wondering if the gasket between the heat sink and the fan serves any purpose other than theoritical. Chosen Solution I lost the cover witch was on the connector of the homebutton while opening the screen, how important was that cover? The homebutton works fine. The most important thing is that the metal bracket, if that’s what you’re referring to, is not “lost” inside the iPhone housing where it might short other components when moving about. Turn off the iPhone and shake it..if you hear it moving loose, reopen the phone and put it back in place....

Did a search for a service/repair manual with no luck. All I can suggest is to disassemble the vacuum to access motor connections and carefully test there with DVOM for power when switch on....
