Chosen Solution Hi guys. I’m about to have a heart attack here. I was doing some routine cleaning of the inside of my macbook, something I had done many times before. This meant removing the upper case by disconnecting the keyboard (silver connector). I then proceded to put it back together, connected everyting and powered it back on. It booted up by neither the keyboard not the trackpart worked, so I thought that I had probably not connected the upper case correctly....

I repaired my wife’s iPhone 5S and in the process of doing so a couple of the ‘mounting/receiving luggs’ for the plate that sits over the screen connectors detached themselves from the plate they were adhered to (see images) ….. is there a recommended method/adhesive I can use to re-attached them ? The plate is in place an held by two screws at the top currently...

Chosen Solution So, I decided to do the repair myself. My old screen was cracked and stopped working. I replaced it with a new one and had some ghosting challenges. I took it apart and checked my connections. It stopped working. My connectors seem good. What could it be? Alright…the mini! Have you sealed the replacement digitizer in place or is it still “free”? If the digitizer is locked in, you will have to remove it....

Chosen Solution Hello, after I start my laptop the load-screen is shown for about 10 sec after this the screen turns black. I know the laptop is still working and Windows is loading but without any graphic. When I connect the laptop with an external Display, it works and I see the desktop external. This means the graphic card works but the laptop-display stays black. When I push the function button with f6 the lightning button the screen appears for some seconds on the laptop-screen and again nothing....

Chosen Solution When I enter a channel change, the tv does not indicate any numbers on the screen. To change channels, i need to go t o the guide and select the new channel. Hi, Are you using the numbers on the remote to select the desired channel or the channel scroll button i.e. channel up channel down? Do the other ‘popular’ buttons (most used) on the remote such as Power On/Off, Volume Up/Down, Mute etc....

Chosen Solution Brand new printer, just arrived today. It says “Cannot Initialize 8F”. After looking around that generally means some kind of jam, but it’s new and there is no jam. When I lift the scanner bed and hold the red “x” on the touchscreen to move the print head to the middle there is the sound of belts slipping and the print head does not move. Is there a known way to fix this?...

Chosen Solution I seem to be experiencing this issue. I think it most likely is a mechanical issue. (The phone seems to react to USB cable movement; what makes it difficult to determine is that sometimes moving the cable doesn’t help until rebooting the phone.) After some investigation, I found that there are suggestions to replace the charging port. (One auction—already over—is here.) I guess I’m answering my own question already, but in that case, this post might be useful to others—especially since it seems that this is one of the most common issues....

Chosen Solution Truck was running a few weeks ago then went to start no fuel so checked the fuse under the hood on the passenger side there is no power to it but there is power going to the one side of relay and changed that and made no change what can I do If theres no power at the fuse then you need to trace the circuit back to the break in the wire ....

Chosen Solution Dishwasher won’t pump out..hose clear…remove standing water manually.. try running again and it works perfectly…3 washings later it does it again…. There is not anything wrong with it. Check the float at the bottom of your dishwasher and make sure it is clear, if it is your dishwasher probably just needs a hard reset. Turn the breaker off for 4-5 minutes, after you turn it back on hold the cancel button down for 3-5 seconds....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have been replacing iPhone screens for some time now but have recently taking up refurbishing broken screens by separating the glass from the LCD/Digitizer. I am using refurbish shop quality equipment which includes; a 5-1 frame machine, 3-1 OCA/Polarizer Laminating machine and a 5-1 laminating and bubble remover machine. I am very new to this process and have been teaching myself with youtube videos and trial and error....

Chosen Solution I just cracked my Pixel 2 XL, having it for just 4 days. No one can fix it right now… In your teardown, can only glass be replaced? The LCD seems to be working as it responds well to my finger. Is the glass glued to the LCD assembly? Parts should be available soon. UbreakiFix currently has the parts in stock and can repair it. If the LCD display on the Pixel 2 is anything like the one on the Pixel, then it will be almost impossible the glass from the lcd screen....

Chosen Solution Got my iPhone real wet - tipped over in a canoe with it in my pocket. I’ve taken the top (screen) half apart and am getting ready to disassemble the bottom to dry all the parts, but can’t find a good Youtube tutorial on the bottom part. Any suggestion? here are the guides for the 3 models. videos are not that great for those jobs diassemble it, clean it carefully with rubbing alcohol and a soft paintbrush and then let it dry a few days...

Chosen Solution The bike is hard to start esp in cool weather. Cranks for a long time with no firing. I have changed the spark plugs but didn’t seem to help. Once it starts it runs fine. I had a honda V4 that had similar problems. Even after riding it was a crap shoot whether it would restart. A local bike mechanic told me that the ignition drew power through the same circuit that the starter did so when the starter was working harder the spark got weaker....

Chosen Solution Link sys comes up instead of my own set-up whenever I go to turn on my Wi-Fi. I have to manually override it every time. At 84 yrs of age, I am not computer savvy, so need step by step help. You should not have to select your wi-fi preference but once on any Mac. This tells me your system is somehow losing it’s memory. Probably caused by a lack of power somehow....

Chosen Solution Got a 5S for free from a friend that had a shattered friend. I assumed it might not be getting any power because of the screen. Put in a new screen and still no power. Put in another logic board in the phone and it worked. Is there anything else I can try before giving up? The water indicators are white and there’s no sign of damage on the board....

Chosen Solution Hello There, i’d like to know if a replacement display with restored trutone functionality done with a device as quianLi shows any kind of messages or flaws which identify them as non origin. (touchbutton and camera will be transfered from the original display)For now i dont care about true tone but for reselling it i might consider restoring it to sell it more successfully in the future. From what i gathered in the same topic regarding the iphone 11 Truetone isnt the only functionality that gets lost in a display swap with a third party display due to some IC on the curcuit board of the display itself....
