Do you have a network you can connect your system to so it can recover its self? If not you can also do a re-install if you have a recovery drive setup or if you have a second mac you can set up yours in target mode and connect your system using either a FireWire or Ethernet Network cable to your other mac you can re-install the OS....

It’s just a small section, about an inch tall, near the bottom of the screen, but I can’t even get into the phone because the dead spot covers some numbers on the pinpad. Chosen Solution Hi, My laptop hit the floor and the post that the laptop base hex screw attaches to snapped off. Not a problem, however the laptop keeps separating every time I close the lid and I have to push the top and bottom together to put the laptop to sleep. It’s now causing more internal damage and when I open it up, the clip has snapped off the laptop base as well as the screw hole to the base is also cracked in half....

My friend contacted me last night to tell me the display brightness is off, it’s darker on the left side and normal brightness on the right. I tried zapping the PRAM, resetting the SMC and even ran the AHT (Apple hardware test). The AHT said no issues....

Chosen Solution Display screen has white stripe from top to bottom on right hand side of display. Software does not appear to be affected I have seen this before. The computer was in need of a new lcd screen. I hope that is not the case. Try disconnecting it for a few minutes and plugging it back in, otherwise replace it. Chosen Solution I did a master reset on my ipod touch and then after that i went to turn it on and the apple sign comes up and then it just freezes i tried to reset it by holding the home and the power button. still wont work, same thing happens when i plug it in to the computer. put it in dfu mode then restore. you’ll have to hold the power and home button for about ten seconds while it’s powering up (till the screen shuts off) keep holding these for about 2 seconds after the screen shuts off then let go of the power button but keep holding the home button for about 10 seconds (till it shows up on itunes) make sure you have it plugged into the usb while you’re doing this....
