Chosen Solution So I see headphone frame damage every day! Pointed at the top, looking like a tear drop. I tried fixing a couple, but it not only didn’t really help the display sit properly, and it makes the headphone jack more difficult to insert. Does anybody have a technique for this? Replace the case, it’s better than straightening it out.

Chosen Solution I am currently working on an iPhone 5s that has an unresponsive home button and Touch ID is not recognised. I swapped the button with one from a donor phone, but the home button still won’t work. I managed to get the donor phone to start up with a new battery but neither button works on this either. Is there a way to test these buttons? I have ordered a new aftermarket button but it will mean Touch ID won’t work anymore....

Immediately set aside the computer and dried most of liquid off, then turned the machine off and more intensively dried with a cloth. Turned it back on (which I now realize wasn’t the wisest move, and I’m very lucky nothing got fried) and everything worked, so I put it to sleep and left it while I went to work....

Chosen Solution So I never dropped my iPad mini 2, there is really no reason why I have a damaged screen. But it appears with a gray haze over the screen. I tried to google how to fix it and I seen some YouTube videos that mentioned that you can smack the back of it and it would work properly but it only made it worse. I googled the symptoms of this issue again and I found some information saying that some times the magnetics parts can be shocked some how when leaving your iPad on the ground....
Chosen Solution I’ve replaced the battery in my Pixel 3a, and even though it appears I reconnected everything, the screen continues to be blank. It vibrates when I use the fingerprint sensor and plug it in, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I would take a photo, but this is my only camera. I’ve also tried hard shutting down my phone and reconnecting the screen before turning it back on, with a similar lack of results....

And i can make them disappear when i press on the surface of the MacBook. It seems to be a totter contact. The purple strips are not on an external monitor and not on a screenshot.
