I don’t see where the flex cable connects for communication. Chosen Solution When I turn on this machine, it boots up slowly but normally (with an external display). The internal display does not turn on at all, and during the startup sequence, the fan runs to maximum speed and stays there. The machine is useable for basic tasks (and the SSD is still faster than the old HDD), but anything CPU-intensive takes forever. I checked my work after repairing and everything worked as expected at that point....

Chosen Solution Like many others, I tore one of the ribbons on my iPhone 7 LCD assembly, do you have a guide on how to replace it. I have a couple of broken screens which I can use if I could get the ribbon off from between the LCD and metal backing plate. While I was doing so I noticed that the battery was quite weak, so I ordered a new one and replaced it. Now I have a very weak WIFI signal. (The little problem is, that my sister can’t clearly remember whether the wifi was working before she stopped using the iphone or not… so that it could be an issue which dates back some time - however she thinks it worked just fine) Anyway, it’s the same phenomena that I have already read lots about (only 3 bars while being 50cm away from the router and no signal at all in the next room)....

Chosen Solution I don’t know what corrosion looks like Hi @generalramm , There’s nothing really obvious but then again there’s a lot a reflected light in the images so it is a bit hard to see even when zoomed in. To be safe gently disconnect the battery from the motherboard (you don’t have to remove the battery, just disconnect it) and then check for any wetness still left anywhere inside the laptop....
Chosen Solution I get error 53 when trying to restore my iPad that is stuck on recovery mode. I have read that using original will fix the issue but don’t have it. Does Ifixit.com sell OEM home button? And will it fix the issue? No, it’s encrypted, even if you tear up another iPad and put the home button to your iPad it will not work. The iPad is dead forever unless someone can hack the thing altogether or you manage to convince Apple to fix it for you....

Chosen Solution My Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900A with Android 5.0) has acquired a fast blinking red light (4 times/second) when the screen is dark. Everything else seems fine. Chosen Solution How can I unfreeze my iPhone 6 plus phone? No damage. It just suddenly froze up with no lights etc. Hold the Home Button (on the front of the iPhone) and the Sleep/Wake button (on the top of the iPhone) together at the same time.
