Btw Apple installed a faster HD in my MacBook when I bought it, and casually the battery screws look a bit worn, so maybe the Apple service installed bigger screws. Anyone knows what size of Pentalobe to look for?...
Chosen Solution We own a 2008 20" Intel iMac (model A1224, EMC 2210). While booting (if the iMac is cold), the display looks normal for a few seconds, then turns to a lot of thin color vertical lines. A warm reboot immediately gives the vertical lines on the screen. The video circuitry seems fine, since connecting an external monitor (and using video mirroring) shows the usual desktop on this external display....
Chosen Solution I have a 120 GB WD Green SSD WDS120G2G0B I would like to enable TRIM on it. I’m trying to use it in a mid 2012 13” MacBook Pro Does this SSD support TRIM in Mac-OS? And should I enable TRIM? OSX doesn’t enable trim by default like windows does (unless the drive was preinstalled). You can enable it by typing sudo trimforce enable Into the terminal.

This is what happens, I hit the power button I will hear a beep and then I would hit it again and then it beeps it sounds like it powering on i see a blue light and I hear a clicking sound and then it just turns off....

Chosen Solution Installed new iPhone 11 Screen. No issues with repair. When customer picked it up, she said the Face ID was not unlocking the phone. There were no messages stating that Face ID was not working. I was able to add my face to her phone, then cleared Face IDs so she could add her face back. When she had to line up her face in the window an error popped up saying that Face ID was unavailable, try again....

Lowered the speed to the lowest.. Chosen Solution EDIT: June 26, 2019 I brought it to another repair shop, and they’ve managed to fix it! They said it was the bridge between the board and internal display, something like that, and that the first repair shop just technically murdered my macbook by adding jumpers into various parts of the board which are not needed at all.. So happy, and thank you guys again for the help!...
Chosen Solution Does anyone know if it’s possible to replace a French keyboard with an English keyboard on these units? I’m assuming the part is available from an Apple Store. Sorry to tell you Apple won’t swap out keyboards only the full uppercase and only with the same one not altering to a different keyboard unit. So what I would do - Get a set of stickers as the gap to the screen is much less in this series than in years past....
Chosen Solution While removing the flex cable with heat the cable separated (not broken) from the other part. It had a little bit of glue. Between both sides it has tiny pins that I guess are supposed to be in contact to work. Camera works but proximity sensor not aswell as the speaker. Please let me know if there is no way to put it back together or I’m better of getting a new flex....

After trying to upgrade firmware it got stuck in Recovery Mode. I’ve tried the 4 options it provides including the hard reset with paperclip and nothing works. It seems that repair guides for this specific repair are very scarce. Found one for the 2012 version, but not sure if it applies to 2014 version. You can’t find guidance because the headphone jack is not a user replaceable part. It’s a fairly challenging through-hole soldering job on the logic board itself, for which professional tools and experience are needed....

Chosen Solution I have an Iphone 5 and for some time now, I have not had any kind of cellular connection. When connected to WiFi, the phone works just fine. Any other time, Safari or any number of apps that require an internet connection will not work. I took the phone to an Apple store. They said that all of the hardware was fine and this it was a software issue....

Barb Wiginton , If not too deep, they can be sanded out starting with a medium wet sand paper working through to a very fine paper and finish by polishing. A headlight restoration kit can work well in removing scratches and can be inexpensive. See links below for more info....
Chosen Solution I was trying to remove battery and it start smoking This doesn’t sound good. If your house hasn’t burned down yet then take this thing outside before it does! It sounds like you maybe punctured the battery while trying to release it from the adhesive. I can’t recommend you do anything with this but write it off, but if you must, bear in mind it could start a violent fire at any time....
