Chosen Solution I just replaced the thermal compound of my old MacBook Pro (high quality grease, the old one was dry as dirt). Before that, I had to underclock it from 2 to 1GHz to keep it stable (using Coolbook). The temperature at rest was around 55°C, and at full CPU load, it would reach 72 °C. The fan never kicked in at that temperature (never loud, but I didn’t measure the speed at that point), but if it stayed that high for too long, the machine would freeze....

Chosen Solution Hi i accidentally dropped my phone into the river when i was fishing i put it to dry as soon as possible didnt turn it on until the next day it turns on and the screen boots up and everything is normal except that when it gets to the lock screen i touch the screen but nothing happens i cant slide the screen open or anything. Chosen Solution when i switch on my imac a question mark flashes in the middle of the screen. i have tried th eobvious like restarting the computor but tis does not work. The flashing question mark means that the mac cant find a bootable image. Do you have an external drive? Bootable OS CD? Try resetting the PRAM/ connecting to a external hard drive and let us know what happens.

Chosen Solution I got it as a gift but did not used it for over a year. Now when I want to use it, it does not work. Is there anything that I can look at, repair it myself, find out why it does not work? Thanks If the device was brand new it would have been tested ex factory and it’s probably safe to assume it was working when boxed....

Chosen Solution This hasnt been happening at all until just yesterday. My screen is already cracked but I cracked it even more the day before yesterday. Yesterday the screen would flicker in the lock screen and randomly after an hour or so of use half the screen would go white, just enough of the screen that it covers the whole keyboard except for the autofill bar. The screen glitches at random and is easily fixed by resetting the phone, but it becomes tedious since I use my phone a lot....

Chosen Solution Hello, We have a asus q502LA-bsI5T14 and the headphone jack is lose when we insert the headphone. Additionally there is no sound when we listen with whatever headphone is plugged in. Does anyone know the replacement part number and how to replace it? (your tube video?) Thank you for your time, -Jake Found out from ASUS tech support the headset jack port thing is part of the motherboard. We would need to replace the entire motherboard to fix the headset jack....

The adhesive is attached to a delicate gasket that will tear easily....

Chosen Solution How do get a tin lid off a tea container similar to a cookie tin @bhakti, elisabeth , use a butter knife to go around the tins lid(between lid and container) and pry out and up until loose enough to pop off. Chosen Solution I am using windows and I would like to print screens. If you have Vista or Windows 7, you can use the built in “Snipping Tool” to capture whatever you want on the screen. Click the start button and do a search for “Snipping tool”. Whatever you select (draw a box around) is automatically placed in the clipboard, which you can then paste into word or paint to print....

Chosen Solution My backlight stoped working and i found out that the iphone 3g has no 6r8 coil so do i change the lcd ? simple answer is yes, if you are sure that it isn’t a loose connection, dirt or damage. I’d try a hard reset..press home and power together for 10 seconds, the apple should appear then allow to reboot…far cheaper and usually works. The other thing to try if this has happened after you have opened the phone is to take the motherboard back off the battery for an hour or 2 then replace....

Chosen Solution This sure looks like the “short cable” issue from previous years, no? External video is solid, issue is 100% repeatable, all other ops normal. Apple won’t touch it except to replace display for a substantial sum. Well, it sorta a cable issue! What happens is the tension of the display cable pulling on the T-CON board causes a solder joint to fail at the cables connection. Apple had a run of bad T-CON solder jobs (likely bad solder) Green/Blue bars being the most common and they happened soon after you bought your system....

Is your screen frozen and you are already booted up and are at the “desktop” screen (where you can either see all of your alerts or apps) and all you can do is press the power button and that just turns the screen off and on and the volume button(s) works but you cannot activate anything on your screen when you tap on it?...

Chosen Solution What is B200 error? All I find in Canon support is “unplug and contact service”. No help or explanation of the problem whatsoever. Canon Error B200 generally relates to a printhead issue and an error message of support code B200 will flash on the control panel. Check this video as well as this one for possible solution. There are plenty more out there that will address the issue Last one is a bit funky but it gives a possible solution...
