Chosen Solution Hello, I dropped some pulp juice at screen of my IPhone 4s.. Now don’t work!… I cleaned then use vacum cleaner and hairdryer … But the screen stills black, don’t give any sign.. it’s a damage motherboard? Is possible to change it? Also 2 weeks before, had other problems…. starts with some breaks, also when somebody call, don’t give me any sign or sound, the screen is black again but with some sentences about “can call later” and so on… I really dunno know what to do....

Chosen Solution the dvd drive accepts discs (both dvds and cds) it spins up like its gonna read the disc, then stops spinning then spins back up, it does this a couple times then it ejects the disc on its own. in disk utility the dvd drive still shows up, so the computer still recognizes the drive, whats wrong with it? Could be bad, could just have a dirty lens. I would get one of the optical drive cleaning disks and give it a try before replacing the disk or getting an external optical drive....

Chosen Solution My Kenmore filled with water and then stopped working. Just said lid was locked I pushed the cancel button and it unlocked but stayed filled. Now the sensor light comes on and stays on but the washer won’t do anything… any advice?? @Kimberly Edwards it sounds like the sensor found a problem. The sensor senses the alignment of the tub and hub. As your basket fills with water it will slowly drop several inches The sensors job is to watch for the tub to drop down into place....

Chosen Solution the filter is set to ’none’, yet everything looks blue. in order to take pictures without the blue effect, I now actually have to select a filter like ’expressive’ or ‘high key’. how can I fix that? Check your White Balance. This is a setting that adapts the color rendering of the camera to the ambient light. For example, if you’d take pictures indoor under “warm white” artificial lighting the pics would all look yellow if your white balance were set for daylight....

Chosen Solution I concur, sounds like a bad hard drive. But to be absolutely 100% sure that it’s not something else, or that something else is also not wrong, you might want to connect your machine to another via firewire cable, power the remote computer up in target mode, and then boot the laptop in option mode, and select the remote computer’s drive. If the laptop works perfectly using the remote hard drive, then you can rest assured it’s the hard drive and that your computer itself is still fully functional....

Chosen Solution The GPS will not charge, ie. , accept external power. GPS still show some charge on battery so any guessing it is another problem. Hi, It it works on external power but won’t charge the battery, perhaps the battery is failing and needs to be replaced. Even rechargeable batteries have a lifespan. Chosen Solution I plan to upgrade my iMAC G5 1.8GHz 17-inch. My questions are: if the computer can only be increased to 2 GB RAM (1 GB now), how large can the hard drive be increased to (80GB now)? Chosen Solution My house is new construction and has a low voltage hardwire in place for a security camera. I want to wire the Nest Cam Outdoor to this hardwire. Any thoughts on how it should be spliced and attached. Could I just cut the USB cable and attach the power wires directly to the house hardwiring? Chosen Solution Ok. So couple of weeks before i got a issue with the 4 pin power wire from PSU to motherboard. I wiggled it a bit more and it got destroyed. I went to the repair shop to make it they fixed the wire somehow but After that I got the PS4 on and off issue. Then i asked the repairer he said he couldnot fix it . Its probably the power supply or the APU....

Chosen Solution I damage the speakers in my HP Slate and tried replacing them on my own but got stuck. I’ve gotten to the point in the disassembly where both speakers are unscrewed from the inside and are next to the charging port, but I can’t seem to take them out. Am I missing something or are the speakers just stuck to the body of the tablet? I want to be careful not to break the charging port when I take them out....

The two fans that draw in air from the bottom have filters that need regular cleaning. remove the bottom fan filters X2 as show in the steps below....

Anthony Kamau, the only thing on this that I can find is that it is a rarely encountered error, and there is not much documentation available for it. The name is PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED and it seems to be most often associated with a device driver or software compatibility issue. I am sure that this is also happening when you start in safemode. If you just installed a new piece of hard ware or software you might try an uninstall....

This is the second one, my first one was replaced under warranty and now they want me to pay for a replacement. Chosen Solution Hi, Display got cracked, bought a new (seller promoted as “genuine”) display via AliExpress. Display arrived today, all looked good and genuine. After finishing the repair, Display works fine, but within the display setting True Tone is now missing and no auto brightness functionality is available. My question is now, is this the limitation of the 3rd party display or is this because of some repair limitation from Apple, eg if you would run the system configuration as you would do with a repair at an AASP, would the display work again (eg display True Tone/ Auto Brightness) or is the 3rd party part missing some hardware “magic”?...

Chosen Solution Dropped my phone yesterday from approx. 50cm, then blue vertical lines and grey horizontal lines starts to appear. And sometimes something remains on the screen, like the keyboard remains after closing it. I’ve tried to open the screen, unplugged and plugged the connectors but still doesn’t make any change. Chosen Solution Ihave missing caps around the battery terminal that are missing including an inductor.I have tried hot air rework using solder balls and although the heat is there it doesnt stick to pad(which I now think is missing) how do I expose the trace under these pads,and can a conductive epoxy be used to glue the components back on? @birdbrain, most likely you can rebuild the traces by using small copper wires....
