Chosen Solution My Galaxy S3 port is damaged I guess, because it does not charge even if I turn off the phone. It is not detected by my laptop. I tried a different charger and cables, but it still is not working. Will updating the software solve my problem? Or do I have to change the port? if I have to change the port, can anyone guide me? Chosen Solution I ordered a home button assembly from iFixit but it doesn’t quite match what I need. It seems there is a metal bracket that holds the actual button to the glass/plastic button on the screen side. The home button assembly instructions do not mention this metal bracket or how to move the one on my phone to the new home button assembly. Chosen Solution My driver side window will go down for it won’t go back up on my 94 Cadillac Deville. Automatic window. @bmcgill could be the switch as well as the window regulator. You could try to jump the regulator once you remove the door panel etc. to see if it moves up. If so it is most likely the switch and vice versa. Take a look on here for more info
