Chosen Solution I just replaced my battery due to my old one swelling, and after the replacement the home button does not register when pressed, and Touch ID is not working. This is probably due to when I pried my display out of the chassis, I did it too hard and the home button ribbon cable flew out along with the bracket that covers it. I’v looked over the ribbon cable and haven’t seen any tearing so I’m unsure what could be the issue....

I see that the buttons on the sides slip and interfere with the leaf springs on the module, is there a trick to getting them out of the way? Chosen Solution Evidently a critter, most likely a lizard, has managed to get into my washer and crawl into the little slot where water comes into the machine. I have no idea as how to remove it! Chosen Solution So far we vacuumed underneath by the compressor; melted and removed major frost in front and in back of the evaporator panel & coils/heater unit area. Melted ice in drain tube-now flowing; changed the defrost timer. Defrost cycle doesn’t seem to last long enough and only bottom portion of coils gets the frost melted. Chosen Solution I attempted to replace a cracked screen on a iPhone 6 Plus but when I was putting the flex cables back on I had the last two inverted and the area where they plug into started to get really hot. I later realized what the issue was and I put the cables in the correct connectors and reassembled the phone and powered it on but now only the apple comes on and disappears and comes on again and it just keeps on doing the same thing....

Chosen Solution I installed a new screen & digitizer. The Digitizer is not working correctly. Some spots are dead, some are offset. Like if you press “a” you get nothing. If you press “s” or “d” you get “a”. To use the “Slide to Unlock” you have to swipe downward at 30-45 degree angle. With “Slide to power off” the first 75% of swipe doesn’t register and the last little bit isn’t enough to turn it off....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I´ve followed your steps to change the ipad front panel but I messed up the “digitizer ribbon cable ZIF sockets” trying to “prying up on the hinged retaining flaps” Can I buy just that part? the front panel its perfect but i miss-understood the steps and broke those connectors…. Chosen Solution Hello , I recently disabled a dGPU on a A1286 MBP because of the known ATI dGPU issues. Sleep, wake, dim and bright screen functionality all worked great in macOS Sierra, however the 4 mentioned features do not work with High Sierra as documented through various posts on the internet.
