Can I update to big sur with no drivers? would the usb wifi still work? Sadly you’re between a rock and a hard place! Catalina dropped support for older 32bit drivers and Big Sur requires driver signing....

Chosen Solution Hello, I am trying to fix a MacBook Pro, but have not before encountered such symptoms. —- What I saw and tried, chronologically: When it came, the laptop would get stuck at the spinning wheel. I removed the HDD, tried to repair it through USB connection on my own Mac, Disk Utility said it was OK; I tried to boot on the “bad” machine and “bad” HDD again, but through USB, got stuck at the spinning wheel; Took it apart: no signs of water damage or past repair; replaced the HDD cable for good measure => the laptop started getting to the prompt at the 94th second; Trackpad works at this point, I could move the mouse around the screen, but when I clicked on “restart” or “shut down” I got nothing; I tried to type use name and password, but the cursor remained stuck on user name, didn’t move or register anything; After a while (2+ minutes, can’t say) the letters I had typed before now appeared in the prompt with a delay....

I knew that there were issues with parts being paired to boards so knew their may be some trouble ahead. I purchased the screen on eBay. The seller said that True Tone works but I would get the “not genuine” message in settings. I replaced the screen and all went well....

I am not capable of fixing it myself, so I was wondering if I could bring it to my local iFixIt store and get it fixed there? There are no local physical iFixit stores where you can walk to get your camera replaced. However it’s a relatively simple repair that any local shop should be able to perform for you if you’re not feeling confident in doing it yourself....
Chosen Solution Forgot Password need to open Unfortunately you can not bypass the password. You will have to do a full factory reset of the tablet losing all information on it. Since there is not a lot of information about your tablet a generic android reset like this should work for you. Again, you will lose all your information on the tablet

No–it’s FL14 a data filter. If it were a capacitor he’d have shorted out his phone by bridging it!...
Chosen Solution recently i had 1 smd capacitor and 2 resistors fall off of my logic board, i made a forum post and found the parts, ordered them and they are on their way. although im curious, what do these resistors do and are they important? the capacitor and resistors are: C7811 R7810 And R7812 They are part of the power subsystem Without them you don’t get the needed 3.3 Volts
Chosen Solution I tested the fuses as I got told that its the fuse tjats blown in the nintendo, she was right, it is the fuse (at least). Now my problem is, the two fuses in the nintendo are like 2mm2 smd parts that are only labelled with “32”. From the form I would say its a resistor, but with 32Ohms? Also, F1 measures under 0.1Ohm so cant really be. There are replacement fuses out in the web, but 3 pieces should cost 7€ plus shipping for 3 smd fuses just cut from a tape....
Chosen Solution My PlayStation 4 is shutting down after 10 minutes. It most likely the on & off problem that lots of PS4’s have. You can see the guide for a diy fix for this problem here It’s probably not overheating as when they overheat you’ll get a red light and it will beep and shut down. If your’s isn’t doing that then it’s not overheating. I hope this helps....
Chosen Solution I recently bought a secondhand iPhone 6. It currently does not have SIM card installed. I put an incorrect SIM card just to check the phone out and get past the white “hello” screen. I removed the SIM and within a day the screen would glitch out. Here’s what I mean by glitch: a complete mess of lines and/or squares of all colors, with no touch response. No amount of well placed pressure (around the corners or camera) effects it at all....

Chosen Solution I have a Samsung UN40HU6950 4K Smart TV. The HDMI inputs 1, 2 and 4 which support 4:2:2 YCbCr color mode at 3840x2160 60hz intermittently work. HDMI input 3 only supports 4:2:0 YCbCr color mode at 3840x2160 60hz always works. If I change the signal source from any of the 4:2:2 inputs to another input, all 4:2:2 inputs will stop working until the TV is turned off and on again via the remote....

Chosen Solution I tried different combinations with my LG G7 LMG710TM, different cables (including the one with the device) and different computers. There is no option to change charging mode to MTP, nor enabling debugging USB (through developer options). Inside “developer options” there is an option that states “select USB configuration” but pressing it nothing happens (in other android smartphones it allows to change between charging, MTP…. ) I tried with a fully updated device, after hard reset without any additional app, after safe mode…....

Chosen Solution I accidentally spilled some acetone on my laptop and it left a slightly white residue and I’ve tried almost everything and all of them didn’t work. Not quite sure if it melted. When it comes to plastic staining, it’s ruined forever - you will need to replace the chassis parts which were damaged to fix it. That said, depending on the extent of the damage you may be able to live with it depending on where, due to Dell’s tendency to plastic weld the keyboard in, or making it a real (and expen$ive) pain to swap....
